Fiber optics entered the broadcast television market like a storm. The ability to carry large quantities of signals over long distances without degradation was the next leap forward and BSI was an early adopter. Today we own over 45 miles of multi-core fiber optic cable. Our in-house Fiber Shop allows us to service it all and keep it in peak operating order.
We have a variety of off the shelf and custom-built systems that carry RF spectrum, video, audio and data where it needs to go. Our custom RF over Fiber systems allow us to provide seamless wireless camera and microphone coverage over large areas and around structures that previously were plainly too daunting.
Small footprint receive sites and robust Tactical fiber optic cable has revolutionized RF coverage. No longer do you need to deploy vast quantities of reception equipment in the field. Now we can centralize our receive capabilities, which offers fast response time, in the event of a failure and less staff is required to operate the equipment at various locations. This approach provides economies in capital expenditure and staffing that we can pass onto our clients.
