The MIC1500 was introduced to address the loss of UHF spectrum due to the digital television transition and UHF re-allocation for Public Safety, as no other viable commercial solution is available. While usage comes with the added burden of specialized frequency coordination, it allows operation in a tightly controlled slice of spectrum that guarantees interference-free operation. It is uniquely suited for large events plagued by spectrum availability issues. These microphones are available as part of a complete "turnkey" service package.
