Broadcast Sports Inc. is growing and hiring in the Baltimore area
Thursday, January 12, 2012 | BSI Staff
Hanover, Md. - January 10, 2012 - Broadcast Sports Inc. (BSI), a Baltimore-area company that provides wireless technology and communications systems for television broadcasting, continues to give local employment figures a boost with ongoing hiring planned for 2012. In 2011, the company created seven new full time positions in a variety of departments and filled them all with local candidates. It also added two temporary positions in its manufacturing department.
BSI provided wireless audio and video services at more than 300 events in 2011, including the Baltimore Grand Prix. That number is likely to grow in 2012 as BSI expands its capabilities with new technologies and enters more niche broadcasting markets and geographic regions. The company opened a U.K. office in 2011 and has its sights set on continued global expansion.
"We are in a very unique field that is thriving in spite of the economic downturn," says Danny Reichert, Operations Manager at BSI. "This January has been our busiest ever and if the rest of the year follows suit we will be looking for more talented people to join our team."
BSI is currently seeking an MIS Analyst and a Test Engineer for its Hanover office. For more information about these positions, visit: /careers.
